The customized versions for different board manufacturers (on the home page) are also portable (download the zip package). The customized versions include the manufacturer's logo as a window background and theme.
@Cattleya: Make sure you download the zip package, because the installer does the following:"The kernel mode driver used by CPU-Z is installed on the system, that avoids to install / remove it at every run."The portable version leaves no driver behind, just tested it.@kc: I used to do sysadmin for a small non-profit org. 7 pc's and 2 printers, no big deal. I carried all my tools on a pendrive. Off course I had admin-rights, but this is a typical scenario a lot of us are in, so it's not entirely useless, portable is the way to go for sysadmins ;)
I'm not sure what's going on with CPU-Z at the moment. My free SUMo (Software Update Monitor) v5.17.2 has been detecting a v2.0.5.1 (a.k.a. v2.05.1) update for CPU-Z for a few days and the MajorGeeks site now says it's offering CPU-Z v2.05.1 at _z.html. However, the English installers currently offered by MajorGeeks are still named cpu-z_2_05-en.xxx and not something like cpu-z_2_05_1-en.xxx.
The official CPUID CPU-Z download page at -z.html#version-history where I usually get the .zip file for any new CPU-Z Portable releases looks like it's still offering the same v2.05.0 installers that were released on 01-Mar-2023, and if I launch CPU-Z v2.05.0 and check for an update (Tools Check for a New Version) it reports I'm using the latest version.

I downloaded a fresh copy of CPU-Z Portable from -z.html today and it appears that a new v2.0.5.1 of CPU-Z was released on Mar-13-2023, even though there's no change to the name of the English installers (i.e., they are all still named cpu-z_2_05-en.xxx) and there is no mention of a v2.0.5.1 update in the version history . Here's what today's fresh copy looks like:
About the download, CPU-Z Portable is a pretty light software that does not require as much space than most software in the section Software utilities. It's a program often downloaded in countries such as India, Vietnam, and United States.
You can download the latest version of installation binary file from the website, and install it on your computer. It also has the portable version in zip format that can be launched without first installing it, which may be more convenient and useful to most of the users.
After having everything in order, you need to download Windows 10 64-bit ISO media and create a bootable copy. Please note you must download the appropriate edition of Windows 10 for the version/edition of Windows you are migrating to. If you upgrade to the wrong edition (i.e., Windows 7 Home Premium to Windows 10 Pro), you will have to purchase a license for Windows 10 Pro or go back to Windows 7 Home Premium and upgrade to Windows 10 Home.
You must delete all the partitions on the drive and create a new partition before you can install windows if the drive has a MBR partition table. Make sure you have a backup of all the data though as all data on the drive will be lost
help me so could I just download media creator and just click 64 bit and then I just click usb drive instead of clicking iso file and boot it after I install usb 64 bit download and the upgrade to 64 bit
While stiil running 32 bits Windows 8 Pro edition, I downloaded both 32 & 64 ISO files for Windows 10 installlation. Two DVDs media were burned. When I booted with the 64.bits edition, the installtions stopped because it does not accept the correspondig and validated prodcut key from 32 bits Windows 8 Pro already installed.
Hi AlexanderOnce you have installed the 32 bit version of Window 10 on the computer you are upgrading, you then install the 64 bit version, skip the product key entry and continue the install. windows when validating after the install will recognise the computer and provide the key.
i-Nex is a free download but not yet available through the Ubuntu Software Centre. Debian installers are available, thought may require a newer version of the Gambas 3 library than that included with some Ubuntu releases.
My problem is, I just got a new HP Pavilion 550-155l that have 4GB of RAM. Then, my friend gave me a stick of Kingston Fury X DDR3 1600Mhz which is 8GB to me. I decided to installed that RAM. Then when I open System Information, its said that I still have 4GB of ram (3.90 Usable). I was very confused so I went ahead and download CPU-Z to see if the RAM stick is working. And it is! it found my 8GB stick! And the memory tab said I have total of 12GB of RAM but why Windows said only 4GB (3.90 Usable)? Is there anything wrong? Please HELP!
